Our Motto, Vision, and Mission statement:
BUILDING A BETTER BULLDOGS
WE ARE WORKING HARD AT BUILDING BETTER BULLDOGS!
Well that’s been our mission statement for over twenty years when we started with our Johnson style American Bulldogs.
My love for the bully breed goes way back into my childhood, my parents raised Chinese Pugs and even German Shepard mixes. As a child my best dog as a teen was my mixed breed German Shepherd dog named Ali. I have always loved dogs from as far back as I can remember. I also took care of my uncles American Staffordshire terrier aka Pitbull back in the 80’s. I once owned a Boxer and an extremely large American Pit Bull (120lb) aka the Oklahoma Bulldog. Note: There was also a dog we called the Oklahoma Bulldog at one time.
As a kid I could only dream of one day owning an English Bulldog like SPIKE in the saturday morning cartoons. My dream came true or at least I thought it did in the early 90’s. Originally I received an English Bulldog stud as a pet from a good friend of mine Jay Stout of Stout Bulldogs. My first English Bulldog was a health disaster experience. He couldn’t breath well, he had all kinds of skin, eye, and ear allergies and infections. To top it off he smelled really bad because he had an anal gland that needed vet care on a monthly bases. My vet at the time told me that I had just got the most expensive and unhealthy breed of dog I would ever own. My dream was crushed, but my mission and vision was clear, build a better bulldog, or at least find an alternative bulldog. At that time I didn’t even know if an alternative Bulldog even existed, because I had never seen one in person. And there was no internet back then.
I saw my first real bulldog in a Dog World Magazine in the May 1998 issue.

BLACKWELL’S AMERICAN BULLDOG IN OKLAHOMA
I immediately called the Blackwell Bulldog Kennels in Collinsville Oklahoma, and found out that a pup was 1000.00, in 1998 a 1000 bucks was a lot of money for a twenty something year old man who was raising babies. It was five years later (2003) before I would purchase my first Johnson Style American Bulldog.
And that’s where it all began for us. WE started with female American Bulldogs. I began working with an old American Bulldog breeder named Richard Goulden of Sitting Bulldog Ranch, He like many other old time breeders are long gone. It wasn’t long before Richard got into the Olde English Bulldog breed himself. That’s when he convinced me to get a smaller house dog, Geronimo was my first Olde in 2007, (Which I traded for an XL American Johnson Bulldog pup).
Geronimo was actually half American bulldog. We started by mixing American Bulldogs with Olde English Bulldogs.
Realizing the English Bulldog was a dog I loved my mission still remains the same today, build a better healthier bulldog.
The rest is history, I fell in love with this fun loving, easy going and extremely healthy bulldog. Slowing I knew that the Old English Bulldog was the dog for me.
We now breed 100% Olde English Bulldogs.
Since then I’ve traveled all over the USA buying OEB’s from everywhere, looking always to improve the breeds’ pedigree, health and temperament by staying true to the OLD TYME BULLDOG standards and on a mission to build better bulldogs.
I myself love the many color variations of the Old English Bulldogs. Therefore, we still bred for the many variations in colors found in this breed. Those are tri colors, Blues, Chocolate, Lilac and Merles.
We have tried hard to set the standard in Osage county for a true grit type bulldog.
We also make it our goal for good customer service, which lasts a lifetime.
OUR VISION
1. HEALTH
The Osage County Bulldog is bred first and foremost to be a healthier, more athletic looking physique, reducing the health issues of the modern English Bulldog.
Our Motto and Mission statement: BUILDING BETTER BULLDOGS!
2. TEMPERAMENT
Temperament is a top priority here at Osage County Bulldogs. All dogs are bred for temperament. We raise family dogs.
This breed is known for its strength, friendly demeanor, and loyalty, making it a popular companion and family pet.
Our Olde English Bulldogges typically do very well with our grandchildren, offering a patient and gentle companion. When it comes to other pets and farm animals, they can coexist peacefully, especially if they’ve been raised together from a young age.
3.Style
Our Motto and Mission statement: BUILDING BETTER BULLDOGS!
